Experience: During my first semester studying Mass Comm, I was introduced to the feature of Photoshop before. But the module only teaches about the basics of Photoshop, so I decided to take Digital Photography and Imaging as one of my free electives. I did learn a lot in this module, not only editing skills but also the mindset of designing. Before that, I was always afraid to start my design as I don’t think I can create a good design and I also don’t feel like sharing my work with others due to lacking of confidence. But Mr.Martin keeps teaching us that we should “trial and error” in order to have improvements in our design. After taking this module, my mindset in designing changed a lot from here.
Observation: I observed that there is no right and wrong in the design. It is all based on the different styles of the artist. Besides, according to the progression check and review, I learned a lot from other students’ designs as well.
Findings: I found there are still a lot of things that can play with Photoshop and After Effect. Even this module has come to an end, but I will still continue in discovering the features in these softwares.
